This week the Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM) announced the winners of the first annual Game Changer Awards. This award program honors five best in class financial operations solutions. Beanworks is thrilled to announce that we have been chosen as one of the five winning solutions, alongside Canon Information & Imaging Solutions, AppZen, Tipalti, and Aquiire.
The Game Changer Awards recognize companies that provide the most productive and effective technologies and meet the highest standards of design and ease-of-use, while conforming to appropriate accounting standards. Forty-four nominees were initially chosen in January, and the winners were determined by a popular vote, which ran until March 31, 2017. In total, a staggering 126,890 votes were cast to determine the winners.
The Game Changer Awards were introduced this year by IOFM to help the Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay (AP & P2P) community, which is primarily composed of financial operations professionals. The search to find better automation solutions is a constant endeavor for AP & P2P community members, and IOFM wanted to provide a way to identify top contenders. As IOFM states, in their press release today: “Success in business relies heavily on developing efficient business processes.”
Brian Cuthbert, Executive Director of IOFM, was amazed to see such a high level of community engagement as the award voting got underway: “I don’t think anyone could have expected the mass of voting we received, and it is a testament to how much value there is in these solutions. Congratulations to all of the winners, I hope you continue innovating and changing the game for businesses!”
The award winners were celebrated at the annual AP & P2P Conference & Expo at the Walt Disney World Yacht & Beach Club Resort, which was held from May 7-9, 2017. This conference is the largest, most comprehensive event dedicated to accounts payable and procure-to-pay solutions. Each year, it brings together financial professionals and strategists to share experiences in AP, learn about best practices and explore current challenges.
